THE STATUE REVIEW

As the Black Lives Matter movement grew, rather than tear down the outdated colonial statues which line Australia’s streets, HEAVY DUTY decided to re-position their historical importance by installing new bronze plaques showing a true representation of histories events.

The new plaques depicted the individuals’ involvement in the murder of Aboriginal Australians, turning each statue into a powerful history lesson.
